Catholic Schools Week

Last week, Catholic schools across the nation celebrated Catholic Schools Week. We take the week to give thanks for the gifts of a Catholic education and celebrate everything about who we are–our faith, our service, our teachers, students, and parents–that make our Catholic schools great places of learning.

My school began the week with a mass at which we showcased our Gospel Choir. We then began the school week with a Pep Rally and a Spirit Wear Day. The students and teachers were excited to celebrate our school! We also had a special prayer service organized by the Student Council, an Open House, service projects, a Student Appreciation Day field trip, Teacher Appreciation Day, and a Teachers vs. Students volleyball game.

It was a terrific week that got the kids, parents, and teachers excited about our school and thankful for our Catholic school community.
